Mt Airy has never comped or offered a room to us in all these years so we stopped going and travel further to other casinos who appreciate our business more. Being a seasoned gaming couple (we have a condo in Las Vegas, get comped rooms at the Borgatta all the time and are regulars at Windcreek) we know when things are not normal. Sunday morning was just as bad and Sunday night, when things started clearing out a little we had a few hits on the slots. My wife and I fed the slots and never had any sizeable hit. Dealer drew 7 black jacks in 20 minutes to ZERO for the patrons.
My son and his GF dropped over $1,500 in less than an hour playing blackjack in high limit area. Well the fines must be cheap because the four of us were crying in our beer Saturday night. We all know computers can adjust odds of winning on the fly and casinos pay fines if they don't payoff enough. Got our clocks cleaned in the casino on Saturday. We were there Valentine's weekend for a Saturday and Sunday stay. The poker room and sports book are downstairs now so the 'secret' upstairs casino is no longer open. Tables were limited to three or four people max at a time so it was hard to find an open seat. However, due to Covid, it is non drinking too.
